Internet marketing has become a very popular subject and one that has made a lot of people very rich. Contrary to popular belief, the Internet goldrush is still alive and well with more and more people becoming millionaires from online business every month. Popular websites and valuable domains are selling for millions of dollars and people are quietly enjoying an enviable lifestyle from their online passive income.

As any budding Internet marketer knows, this is a question that friends, family and loved ones will ask when they query why you spend all your time sat at the computer. The idea of making money from providing information and without actually working in a job is an alien concept for many people.

You may run membership sites, providing... you guessed it... information.
You could provide a service like article writing, ghost writing, graphics and so on.
One of the biggest issues in explaining Internet Marketing is the fact that there are so many different ways you could make money. In fact, and huge fact here, it's the single most influencing factor in anyone failing to make money online!
Whichever way you choose to make money online, you are making your money by providing information of some sort to an audience.
What non marketers don't realize is the sheer volume of information researched on the Internet every day and how this is used either to make a buying decision for a physical product or paid for in the form of books, videos and memberships showing people how to solve a problem they have.
This volume of information required is what makes Internet marketing such an incredible business to be in. I mean, how many businesses do you know that you can operate in your spare time and make money from with pretty much a zero dollar investment? Let me tell you... none.
As you set out on your journey to be an Internet marketer you will encounter questions about what you do to earn your money. Just raise an eyebrow and say in a secretive voice, "I sell information" and wink... then people will stop asking questions and give you respect and a wide berth!
